Liverpool Striker Luiz Suarez Bites Italy Defender, Set To Face Lengthy Ban(PHOTOS)

Barely a year after he bit Chelsea defender, Branislav Ivanovic, Liverpool and Uruguay striker has done it again. This time in the second half of the Italy-Uruguay win or burst match yesterday, Luis Suarez appeared to bite Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini's shoulder (pictures above).

In more photos, Suarez is seen chasing the Italy Giorgio for the ball and then suddenly both men fall to the ground, with Suarez clutching his teeth as if in pain while Chiellini pulls his shirt down to show the referee the bite marks on his shoulder. Unfortunately the referee didn't see the attack so didn't penalize Suarez but the cameras captured it and if found guilty by football governing body FIFA, the striker could a lengthy ban of up to 2-years for both club and country. He has until today afternoon to come up with a worthy defence of his actions.
