Woman, Meriam Ibrahim, Freed After Renouncing Her Muslim Faith For Christianity, Re-arrested
Some how, you can sense that there is so many power tussle in play here, we can only hope that, at the end of the day good will prevail, because, religion i believe is personal.
Sudanese woman, Meriam Ibrahim, who was only freed yesterday June 23rd after months of being in detention for marrying a Christian and denouncing her Muslim faith has been re-arrested by security officials at the Khartoum Airport in Sudan.
CNN reports that, Meriam's lawyer said she was arrested along with her husband and children as they were trying to leave Sudan. Reason for her re-arrest has not yet been stated.
