Female Mountain Of Fire Pastor, Arrested For Visa Fraud
Joy Tongo(pictured above) a Pastor at Mountain of Fire church at Isolo court this afternoon was remanded in Prison for her alleged involvement in a visa fraud case.
The 35-year-old married woman allegedly defrauded a missionary identified as Stanley Dim of N300,000 for the procurement of visa and other necessary travel documents to China.
Tongo allegedly failed to deliver the visa on the day she promised Stanley Dim.
Dim later demanded for his money back but she refused to pay, she told him she had used the money to buy the forms for his travel documents.
The case was reported to Alakara police station and Tongo was arrested and charged to court.
She was granted a bail of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum but was unable to meet the terms.
Her case will come up for trial on Sept 5, 2015.
