Breaking NEWS!!! Finally The Real Oga At The Top, SPEAKS From Abuja.

Officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) and the Civil Defense has broken their silence over the Lagos State commandant of the corps, Mr Obafaiye's 'My Oga At the Top' saga.

The NSCDC official condemned what he described as unholy celebration of a minor error, advised Nigerians to stop falling prey of the antics of mischievous persons who had chosen to sponsor the “dirty harassment in the social media, in a bid to halt the commandant’s openness in handling oil thieves.”

** No punishment for Commander Shem since he committed no crime.

**NSCDC suspect that the Oil thieves are behind the social media attack.

**until his resumption of duty in Lagos, the crime against Nigeria’s economy was swept under the carpet. How can this hero who means business in fighting oil theft, be paid this way?
They claimed that "the speculation of the error in the social media was the handiwork of vandals and their godfathers".
Do not be surprised that even the so-called chief executives of some agencies until now, did not know their websites.

I am not saying that this is an excuse but I am saying that his personality should not have been dragged into the mud.

247NaijaGossip was enlightened about Mr Obafaiye, whom the officer said,"as you may be aware, until his resumption of duty in Lagos, the crime against Nigeria’s economy was swept under the carpet.
But how can this hero who means business in fighting oil theft, be paid this way? Those vandals should stop crying wolf over nothing.”

He also noted that the man in question is a patriotic Nigerian who does his job with diligence and passion and should be celebrated instead of being maligned.
Asked if he sensed any fowl play with the interviewers, he posited: “Well, what I do not understand is whether embarrassing their guest is part of their organisation’s goal and mission statement. I will however leave them for the public to judge.”

The NSCDC officers maintained that there is no disciplinary measure against the Lagos commandant, as he did not commit any offense.

  1. Its just so stupid how some Nigerians attach importance to nothing.i see no big deal in what the man said, its a mistake anybody can make when asked a question you arent expecting.the president can even make this mistake so why cant we just stop chasing shadows and face reality? No one is perfect.Nigerians grow up and stop displaying your level of stupidity.some people are saying he should be removed from the post, please can anyone kindly give me a tangible reason for that? Is it because of the blunder or is it because he is not competent? Before you judge i think you should ask yourself if you are perfect.i dont know the person involved from adam but i think we should stop pulling down our roof with our hands.

  3. If I hear any Nigerian come out and say our leaders are illeterates , I will curse that person. Because from this two responses above , you have shown that.
Please you guys should leave sentiments apart and watch the whole interview and tell me he didn't know why he was at the interview. We have leaders and Ogas at the top whom are incompetent and ignorant and yet you can come out here and defend him saying he doesn't know his own website. Next we will come out here and say our leaders don't know anything and should be removed and next you turn around and say another thing.so we should sit back and allow him abi, our future are in his hands and am glad to know you are comfortable with that. Let's continue to allow ignorance aas a criteria for being an oga.

  4. This article just goes to prove what Mr Oshem said, they are really clueless. When and how did Oil thieves come into this debate about A top commandant not being able to comport himself during an interview and give outrageous excuses. If you believe this story then you must be as dumb as they are, what an excuse. Like anonymous said we need to weed these people out and get our country back on track with reliable officers. Shocking

  5. Ignorance is never an excuse, i'm so sure he would have been informed earlier before the interview. He should have got himself prepared and got all necessary info at his finger tips. I guess this will be a lesson to everyone!

  6. Then it all boils down to the fact that level of education must be put into consideration b4 recruiting any officer of NSCDC

  7. My believe is dat channels t.v should be blamed for all dat as happened and dey should accept d blame bcos mr shem was dia guest and its dia responsibility to protect his image and reputation. Mark my word, it would still tell on them. Concerning mr shem, dere are alot of people outdere dat knows it alk(website, national anthem etc). But wen given any vital role to play dey will mess it up even beyond expectation. Nigeria needs action and result not website issues.
