I'd told you guys how a married woman, Mrs. Ese Isaiah, was locked up with bad guys inside a police cell in Delta State and the guys end up raping her violently. That case is not d**d.
Two of the suspected rapist - Enamuotor Akpevwe, 21, and Ugbede Obruche, 20, have been arraigned before an Abraka Magistrate Court on a two-count charge of rape and conspiracy. When the case came up for mentioning, the trial Magistrate, Mr. G. D. Epete ordered that the suspects should be reminded at the Federal Prisons, Sapele, and fixed hearing for May 3, 2013.
Also, the policemen on duty that day are expected to face orderly room trial as ordered by the Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG, Benin Zone 5, Alhaji Hamisu Argungun.
It would be recalled that Mrs. Ese Isaiah had in a petition by her counsel, Mr. Ejomasuvwe Efe alleged that she was locked in a police cell with men who raped her serially without the policemen on duty protecting her despite her crying for help.
