Check Out This Anonymous Donor Giving Away Cash Through Twitter
An anonymous donor, known simply by his Twitter handle, @HiddenCash has gotten tens of thousands of people in the United States on the hunt for free cash.
Communicating with prospective hunters on Twitter, @HiddenCash leaves huge wads of cash around San Francisco, California, encouraging those who find the envelopes to take photos of them, post them onto Twitter and give him a shoutout. He then goes further to them give clues as to where the next envelope is hidden.
Sometimes the clues are obvious, but other times they are cryptic and emoji-filled.
The Twitter account has gained extraordinary popularity and the man behind the anonymous Twitter account claims he is between 35 and 45 years old and has made millions from real estate deals.
So, in what he terms a "social experiment," he plans to give away upwards of $1,000 a day by hiding cash around the streets of San Francisco and leaving clues to its location on Twitter.
