50 Cent Ordered to Pay Additional $2m in Sex Tape Damages
50 Cent's bankruptcy claim has officially backfired, he has been instructed to fork over another $2 million in punitive damages to Rick Ross' baby mama, Lastonia Leviston, for leaking her sex tape online.
A lawyer for Leviston had urged jurors to award her $15 million in punitive damages but was rather awarded $7 mil especially because 50 Cent told the jury this week that he was worth less than $5 million in an effort to get some leniency. 50 Cent's attorney had asked them to order he pay $700,000.The jury announced the judgment in NYC on yesterday. 50 already got hit with a $5 million judgment in the case earlier this month which lead to him filing for personal bankruptcy.
50 Cent's attorney has released a statement saying the rapper plans to fight the judgement hoping to "reduce the size of the award."

50 Cent Admits Bankruptcy Filing Was a Stunt
Last week, a judge in LA ruled that despite filing for bankruptcy, rapper 50cent is still liable for damages in defamation case filed against him by Rick Ross' baby mama for posting her amateur s*x tape on line.
Over the weekend, 50 cent went on Instagram to joke with fans about filing, not because he is broke but, because he doesn't want to pay up... See what he wrote below...

50 Cent Says He's Broke & Even Owes His Grandfather
Rapper 50 Cent who recently filed for bankruptcy, has now giving the judge a list of his many creditors, and his Grand Dad, Curtis Jackson Sr. is among them.
According to the documents, 50 owes grandpa Jackson $1,737.33.
50 also owes $137,880 to Bentley, $64,909 to American Express (Credit card) and, 2 court judgments totaling more than $23 million. And there's more that's just boring debt.
The rapper is laughing off the bankruptcy, he was even most recently seen making it rain on Monday night at Ace of Diamonds strip club in West Hollywood.
In his interview with Levinston on Wednesday, he said:
“You get a bullseye painted on your back when you’re successful, and it’s public to know you’ve become the ideal person to have lawsuits for.”

50 Cent Pictured With $5k Wad Of Cash Before He Filed For Bankruptcy
The ace rapper had $5,000k in $100 bills in his pocket last Wednesday when he hosted a club night for his birthday at The Pool After Dark at Harrah's Resort inAtlantic City.
Two days later, a court ordered him to pay Rick Ross's baby mama $5million for posting her sex video on the internet and three days later, he filed for bankruptcy.
After Claiming Bankruptcy, 50 Cent Poses By Small Car, Says Times Are Hard
Lol. Did you ever think 50 cent had this in him? Times are hard out here. In response to the news of his well timed 'bankruptcy' filing and Chris Rock's Fall so hard' tweet, 50 cents said:
"I’m not panicking. People love tragedy more than they love good news, no matter how you look at it. The news comes on, and it’s 90 percent tragedy. I have faith in the court systems, I know at points you gotta just relax and go through the process.”
On the decision to file for bankruptcy, he says "
I make decisions to do things based on the position that I’m placed in at points and if I’m consistently being made out to be a target because of my financial situation ….If people actually believe that I wouldn’t be conscious of who I am and protecting myself …”
The rapper seems very cool amidst all of the backlash from fans and the press and seems to be a good business man. Filing for bankruptcy may not be a bad thing if you already have bad credit.

50cent Declares Bankruptcy After Been Ordered To Pay Rick Ross' Baby Mama $5million
Last Friday July 10th, rapper 50cent was ordered to pay Rick Ross' baby mama, Lastonia Leviston, $5 million in damages after losing his defamation case. $2.5 million for distress plus $2.5 million in damages. In 2010, at the height of his beef with Rick Rose, he posted Lastonia's sex tape on his website.
And now that he's been asked to pay up, 50cent, worth about $150million, has declared bankruptcy.

50cent is down for the count after losing a multi-million dollar lawsuit ... he's just declared bankruptcy.
TMZ has confirmed ... 50 filed for bankruptcy on Monday, 3 days after Rick Ross' baby mama won a $5 million jury verdict against him.
50 is in a world of financial hurt. A jury awarded Lavonia Leviston the $5 mil after determining the rapper intentionally leaked a sex tape in which she was featured, in order to embarrass Ross. 50 has been ordered to produce proof of income and worth so the jury can determine punitive damages.
According to the bankruptcy filing -- a story first reported by Page 6 -- 50 says his assets are valued between $10 and $50 million but his liabilities are also between the same range. On top of that, 50 lost a court case in which a jury socked him with a $17.2 million judgment over ripping off a headphones design.
It's a breathtaking fall .. in May, Forbes estimated 50's net worth at $155 million.

50 Cent Ordered to pay Rick Ross' Baby Mama $5 Million for Leaked S*x Tape
The Manhattan Supreme Court has ordered rapper 50 Cent to pay Lavonia Leviston, Rick Ross' baby mama, $5 million in damages for uploading her sex tape to the internet in 2009.
According to reports, $2.5 million of the sum is for "violating her civil rights for using her image without her permission," and the other $2.5 million is for "intentional infliction of emotional distress." Leviston's lawyer originally sought $20 million total in damages.
50 was absent during the court proceedings, not attending to testify nor hear the verdict. He has denied publishing the tape online, though it undeniably features 50 Cent in his "Pimpin' Curly" outfit providing commentary from start to finish.
