Boko haram Lagos Invasion:42 Suspects Arrested
According to the Nigerian Army, a total number of 42 suspected members of the deadly and terrorists group, boko haram have been arrested in Lagos and Osun states. The reason for the migration is connected to the clampdown on members of the terrorist group in the North-east. Since the Federal government declared emergency rule in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe, the insurgents have been dislodged from their hiding places.
According to the confessions made, some members escaped to south-west with the hope of forming smaller terrorist cells in the region. Also, the escaped terrorists had already taken up menial jobs in the region not to attract attention to their lifestyle. The army has warned Nigerians to be vigilant of the kind of people they do business with and employ. Nigerians should scrutinize people before employing them for whatever job positions and should report any suspected individual to the nearest position station.
