Breaking News: Okonjo-Iweala's Mother Rescued

A source said kidnappers of the Octogenarian kept her in Delta State, while contacting her family from another location to divert attention from their hideout.

Another source said she was let go by her abductors unharmed for reasons best known to them.

Recalled that 82-year-old Prof Okonjo was kidnapped by dare-devil kidnappers, numbering about ten, from her home on December 9 2012, while attending to workers fixing her palace gate.
