flying car completes first public flight(photos)
The Terrafugia Transition completed two demonstration flights at the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh air show, with each flight lasting about 20 minutes. Which is approximately 20 minutes longer than the time some people thought a flying car could ever achieve.
The Transition was flown and driven by Phil Meteer, Terrafugia's chief test pilot and flight test coordinator.
During the demonstration runs, the Transition flew over the show ground, successfully converted from airplane to car and drove along the flight line.
