Meet Abubakar, the little boy Davido promises to fund his Education

Award winning Nigeria singing sensation, Davido,  is carving his name in the hearts of his fans as he has been fulfilling promises he made to his fans. He is sharing his good tidings with his fans.
On Friday, October 16, a day after promising to buy a fan Macbook, another fan of Davido shared the picture of a little boy who hawks for survival with Davido. And Davido told the fan to find him the little boy and promised to fund his education to the university once he has been found.

The good news is that the boy has been found and identified. His name is Abubakar. An excited Davido shared a picture of the little boy smiling on his Instagram on Monday, October 19. You must honour your words and stand up for something, that is exactly what Davido have been up to in the past months. He captioned the picture:

“Can’t wait to meet ABUBAKAR and send him to school … He deserves the world! … Every child deserves an education but it’s sad that, that is not the case in the world today but if we all do our part the world would be a better place! GOD BLESS HIS SOUL I AM READY To give his education till he finishes university MY WORD!”

 In September, Davido gave a fan one million Naira to pay his school fees. He gave the money to Olajide Daniel Sanyaolu an indigent student in the United Kingdom who dropped out of school to raise fund for his school fees.
