North Korea missile 'fuelled and ready for launch': South warns nukes could be fired TODAY
North Korea's army is split over leader Kim Jong-un's threats to wage an all-out war with the West, it has emerged.
The news comes as South Korea raises its alert level after announcing the prospect of a launch is 'considerably high'.
But the U.S. insists it could shoot any North Korean missile out of the sky, as the tourist border with China is shut down by North Korean authorities.
As the peninsula edges ever closer to war, there were reports that the military is split over the young dictator's aggression, which may stem from a desire to rein in his discontented but powerful generals.
First Lieutenant Kim, 42, said he had been forced to flee North Korea after he murdered a rival officer as factions in his unit vied for control.
'I killed a three-star company commander, the same rank as me,' he said. 'He was the head of the faction supporting Kim Jong-un. There were two fights. In the first fight, they surrounded us and arrested a lot of people.

Mbereko (40), from Mwenezi in Masvingo, who was widowed 12 years ago, has been cohabiting with her first child, Farai Mbereko (23). She confirms that she is six months pregnant and that she has decided it is better to “marry” her son because she does not want to marry her late husband’s young brothers, whom she says are coveting her.
Betty stunned a village court last week when she said the affair with her son had begun three years earlier. She said after spending a lot of money sending Farai to school following the death of her husband, she felt she had a right to his money and no other woman was entitled to it.
Farai said he was more than prepared to marry his mother and would pay off the ilobola balance his father had left unpaid to his grandparents. “I know my father died before he finished paying the bride price and I am prepared to pay it off,” he said.
“It is better to publicize what is happening because people should know that I am the one who made my mother pregnant. Otherwise they will accuse her of promiscuity.”
But local headman Nathan Muputirwa says: “We cannot allow this to happen in our village, this is a bad omen indeed. In the past they would have to be killed but today we cannot do it because we are afraid of the police.” He warned them to break off their marriage or leave the village immediately.
Funny enough, the mother and son chose the advice and have left the village for an unknown destination.

It was not known how many years Tadano, who would have been 48 at the time, had been dead, but it was long enough for his body to have become skeletonised, the officer said.
Tadano lived with his two sisters in an old house in northern Hokkaido, but confined himself to his room and had not communicated with his family for many years, the Sankei daily reported.

Bond for a 64-year-old woman who allegedly paid her grandson to kill her husband was set at $500,000 Saturday [Apr. 6]. Janet Strickland of Chicago was charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of armed robbery with a firearm after her husband was fatally shot in the gangway near his home on the Far South Side while on his way to dialysis, police said. William Strickland, 72, was shot six times in the back on March 2 while on his way to dialysis treatment in what police suspected to be a robbery.
Janet Strickland was reportedly not in court for her hearing Saturday because she was receiving treatment for a lung disease, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. Janet Strickland allegedly commissioned her grandson to kill her husband, and watched as he did so before stealing a casino bag with money in it as her husband lied shot on the street, according to the Sun-Times.
Janet Strickland reportedly used the stolen money to take her grandson on a shopping spree. The 19-year-old grandson, also named William Strickland, was held without bond March 30 in connection with the murder and admitted in court to stealing his grandfather’s gun and committing the crime. He also said he used money from his grandfather’s wallet to purchase tattoos, new shoes, a cell phone and other items. A life sentence may be imposed, though the younger Strickland has no criminal background.

Mother Jailed 50 Years For Allowing Her Newborn To Freeze To D***th
A woman who admitted leaving a newborn daughter to freeze to death along a rural roadway in 2004 was sentenced Friday to 50 years in prison.
Katie Stockton, 32, faced up to 60 years in prison for the death of the infant, who became known as Baby Crystal around the Rock River Valley after her frozen remains were found. Winnebago County prosecutors dropped 11 remaining murder charges in exchange for her guilty plea in February to a single count of first-degree murder.
Before handing down the sentence, Winnebago County Judge John Truitt allowed testimony about skeletal remains of two other infants found years later in the trunk of Stockton's car.
Stockton hid her pregnancy and gave birth to the baby in secret on Dec. 17, 2004. Afterward, she stuffed the baby and soiled clothing into an orange shopping bag and placed it along a dead-end road near her parents' Rockton home.
She was questioned in the baby's death at the time, but denied she was the mother and refused to provide a DNA sample.
Detectives investigating the death years later collected evidence from a cigarette butt they saw Stockton discard, and authorities said saliva on the cigarette butt matched blood found on the clothing with Baby Crystal. Stockton was arrested in 2009 after further tests showed she was the baby's mother with a 99.96 percent certainty.
After her arrest, investigators discovered her car had been sitting in an impound lot for a year and searched it for more clues. That's when they found the skeletal remains of two other infants wrapped in cloth and stuffed in separate plastic bags and buried beneath a spare tire, chain saw and tire iron.
Forensic pathologists could not determine how the infant girls found in the trunk died or whether they were born alive. No charges have been filed in connection with those remains.

Yityish Aynaw, 22, was part of a gala dinner hosted by Shimon Peres, Israel’s president during Mr Obama’s Middle East trip. She recently became the first Israeli of Ethiopian origin to win Israel’s premier beauty queen contest.
When asked about the US president, she replied, “He’s an exciting man, a world-class hunk, charming and an extraordinary gentleman.”
She added that she did not think Michelle Obama, the First Lady, would be jealous.
Mr Obama reportedly told Ms Aynaw: “You are very beautiful … Michelle would have been very happy to be as tall as you are.”
Ms Aynaw, who emigrated to Israel from Ethiopia with her Jewish grandparents after the death of her mother when she was 12, earlier this month said Mr Obama was a role model “who broke down barriers, a source of inspiration”.
At 22 years old, Aynaw was working as a sales clerk when a friend entered her name into Israel’s beauty pageant.
She has lived in Israel since she was 10, when she was orphaned and went to live with her grandparents.
She recalled going to an Israeli boarding school without knowing a word of Hebrew and said some of the kids there made fun of her Ethiopian name.
‘What is “Yitayish?” This is my name. but it sounds weird,’ she told reporter in an interview. ‘There were times they’d call me “Tayish.” In Hebrew that’s a kind of animal. You know?’ More than a quarter of all Israeli TV viewers watched Aynaw, who became an army officer after graduation; win her crown a couple weeks ago.
‘It’s time that someone from my community, someone with my skin color, who is Israeli just like everyone else, represent the country,’ she said. ‘I feel like I made history, that I blazed a trail.’

My mom only had one eye. I hated her… She
was such an embarrassment. She cooked for
students and teachers to support the family.
There was this one day during elementary
school where my mom came to say hello to
me. I was so embarrassed.
How could she do this to me? I ignored her,
threw her a hateful look and ran out. The next
day at school one of my classmates said, ‘EEEE,
your mom only has one eye!’
I wanted to bury myself. I also wanted my
mom to just disappear. I confronted her that
day and said, ‘ If you’re only gonna make me a

My mom did not respond… I didn’t even stop
to think for a second about what I had said,
because I was full of anger. I was oblivious to
her feelings.

to do with her. So I studied real hard, got a
chance to go abroad to study.
Then, I got married. I bought a house of my
own. I had kids of my own. I was happy with
my life, my kids and the comforts. Then one
day, my Mother came to visit me. She hadn’t
seen me in years and she didn’t even meet
her grandchildren.
When she stood by the door, my children
laughed at her, and I yelled at her for coming

curiosity.
My neighbours said that she died. I did not
shed a single tear. They handed me a letter
that she had wanted me to have.

North Korean Army Claims It Has Final Approval For Nuclear Strike On US
The North Korean Army said today it had received final approval to launch ‘merciless’ nuclear strikes against the United States.
It said it was formally notifying Washington that U.S. threats would be ‘smashed by… cutting-edge smaller, lighter and diversified nuclear strike means,’ according to a statement published by the official KCNA news agency. Part of the statement read:
‘The merciless operation of (our) revolutionary armed forces in this regard has been finally examined and ratified.
The moment of explosion is approaching fast. It could occur ‘today or tomorrow.’
Today it was reported that North Korea had moved what appears to be a mid-range Musudan missile to its east coast, according to South Korea’s Yonhap news agency, quoting multiple government sources privy to intelligence from U.S. and South Korean authorities.
The missile is believed to be able to cover 1,875 miles – putting all of South Korea and Japan within range.

THREE engineering students have come up with “anti-rape” underwear that gives an electric shock to attackers AND alerts cops.
The trio designed a camisole underwired with a technology that can deliver up to 82 electric shocks.
The garment has pressure sensors sewn in around the bust area that detect groping hands and send out the shock – which has the strength of a stun gun.
The product also sends a message to police as well as to the family of the victim.
The undergarment – dubbed Society Harnessing Equipment or SHE – was created by trainee automobile engineers from Chennai, India after the fatal gang rape of a 23-year-old physiotherapy student on a New Delhi bus last December.
Last month a Swiss woman was attacked in the country and a British tourist told how she jumped out of her hotel window fearing a man was trying to molest her.
Co-inventor Manisha Mohan said: “A person trying to molest a girl will get the shock of his life the moment pressure sensors get activated.”
She explained that she and colleagues Niladri Basu and Rimpi Tripathy decided to put the wiring into the clothing after a survey showed most women were first groped on their breasts.
The women are protected from the current by polymer insulation in the bra. The makers are currently fine-tuning the design – hoping the garment will be on sale by the end of this month.
“Studying in a convent girls’ school, we were always taught to be good to everyone around and bear a cheerful smile.
“After stepping into the real, cruel world we realised that our smile could not last for long as the threat to our purity and integrity always lingered on.
“Lawmakers take ages to come up with just laws and even after that, women are unsafe. Hence, we have initiated the idea of self-defence, which protects the women from domestic, social and workplace harassment.”
Woman Gang-Rap**d For 6 Hours As Boyfriend Watched
An American tourist who was attacked in Rio de Janeiro was gang r*ped in front of her boyfriend, it emerged yesterday.
The young woman and the Frenchman were apparently subjected to a six-hour ordeal by three men after flagging down a public transit van in the Brazilian city.
The horrific crime has sparked fear among visitors to the metropolis, which is set to host next year's football World Cup as well as the 2016 Olympics.
A few minutes after the pair of tourists boarded the mini-bus on Friday night, the operators ordered the other passengers to get off and inflicted a 'party of evil' on the couple.
The three assailants took turns r*ping the woman and beating the man, whom they handcuffed and sometimes struck with a metal crowbar, police investigator Alexandre Braga said yesterday.
The men split up the driving, ending up in Rio's sister city of Niteroi across, where they went on a spending spree with the foreigners' credit cards.
Once they hit the limit on both cards, spending around $500 at gas stations and convenience stores, the suspects drove the pair back to Rio and forced the woman to fetch another credit card, Mr Braga said.
He said that she did not dare call for help at this point 'because the young man was still under the suspects' control and she feared something even worse might happen to him'.
Around six hours after they were kidnapped, the tourists - both in their early 20s - were dumped by the side of highway 30 miles away from Rio.
They managed to reach a consulate, where staff helped them contact police. The woman has returned home, while the man is still in Brazil helping officers with their inquiries.
Wallace Aparecido Souza Silva, Carlos Armando Costa dos Santos and Jonathan Foudakis de Souza have been arrested on suspicion of the crime.
'The victims recognised the three without a shadow of a doubt,' Mr Braga said. The men's mug shots were also recognised by another woman who said she'd been r*ped by the three under similar circumstances last month.
Two of the suspects have confessed to Saturday's attack, while the third denies any responsibility.
Many are now asking whether Rio authorities, who have succeeded in cracking down on much of the city's drug violence, are up to the task of protecting the waves of tourists expected to flood the city during the World Cup and Olympics.
Some 2million people are also expected to flock to the city in late July for World Youth Day, a Roman Catholic pilgrimage that Pope Francis is scheduled to attend.
Observers said the attack came as a particular shock given that safety has improved at least in the city's tourist-friendly seaside neighbourhoods.
'No one expects to be attacked in Disneyland, handcuffed and roughed up,' said Alfredo Lopes, the head of the hotel association. 'Copacabana is our Disneyland.'
The suspects allegedly rented their van, which seats about a dozen people and has dark tinted windows, from the vehicle's owner, who has not been linked to the attack.
Rio's van services are widely reviled for their precarious safety conditions and reckless driving, as well as their links to organised crime.
Some vans are run by militias largely composed of former police and firemen who control large swaths of the city's slums and run clandestine transportation and other services. In general, tourists avoid the vans and opt for regular buses or taxis.
Australian visitors Emma Richardson and Jason Sestic said they have been taking extraordinary precautions throughout their weeklong stay in Rio.
'We've stayed well away from Copacabana and the beach areas at night,' Mr Sestic said. 'I'm a pretty paranoid person in general and I've heard enough stories about here to be really paranoid.'

SHOCKING! 2 Nigerians And A Filipino Kidnap A Japanese Engineer In Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR: Two Nigerians and a Filipina were charged at the magistrate's court here yesterday with the kidnapping of a Japanese engineer three weeks ago.
Okwara Victor Emeka, 40, Kalu Okoro Okeke, 31, and Divina Gu-tierrez Matias, 34, from the Philippines allegedly abduct-ed Shunsuke Kobayakawa, 50, in Jalan Lebuh Pudu, and confined him in a condominium unit at Venice Hill, Cheras, at 11.30pm on March 13.
No plea was recorded from the three accused, who were charged under Section 3 of the Kidnapping Act, which carries the death penalty, or life imprisonment, if found guilty.
The two Nigerian men are said to be studying in Malaysia, while Divina worked as a maid.
Deputy public prosecutor S. Malini Anne prosecuted while the three accused were represented by counsel L.A. Gomes.
Magistrate Erry Shahriman Nor Aripin presided.
It was earlier reported that the victim had come to Malaysia on March 12 to meet a woman, whom he had communicated through "Skype" about marriage.
After kidnapping the victim, the trio had allegedly demanded a ransom of US$50,000 (RM155,000) from his family in Japan, which was to be credited into a bank account in the Philippines.

Mourners at the service filed past Zeng's open-casque coffin, decorated with chrysanthemums, to sprinkle petals over her body. And a man in MILITARY DRESS UNIFORM stood guard as the service was conducted.
After lying in state for an hour — complete with a Hello Kitty doll on her chest and origami doves hanging above her coffin — Zeng got up to join her own wake.
